Well here it is;
First time opening the doors here at Sweet Briar.

Should be a good place to find a little New England warmth......
A taste of something good or perhaps a picture of the beauty in plain sight, maybe some advice on a hidden treasure or two.
A breeze through the cook books I have found to be most useful over the years and hopefully some new gems to be discovered.

I travel the New England landscape frequently and spent a good many years working in the restaurant business. From the comfort food of my youth to the fresh cafe cuisine I love with many stops at New Englands best B&B's.

Some of my best memories of growing up are interwoven with recipes, laughter, good old Swamp Yankee wisdom and the lingering smells of a warm kitchen.
So here I am to share any and all of what I find interesting and delicious.

So let's take a trip down the road less travelled now and then
